About 171project.space

171project.space is a multidisciplinary art and project space in Arnhem, founded by artists Donna Verheijden and Bram van Leeuwenstein. Their programming focuses on showcasing artists with hybrid practices that blend various disciplines. The space features initiatives like "WindowTalks," offering 24/7 street-viewable exhibitions, and has hosted diverse events, including a one-day restaurant experience in their window display.

171project.space provides a platform for experimental and multidisciplinary art, strongly focusing on process, material research, and conceptual depth. Through installations, performances, and exhibitions, we provide a space for artists to explore, reflect, and engage in dialogue on themes like transformation, perception, nature, and culture.

The project space's core values are:

Experiment & Research – A space for creative exploration, working through processes, and trying out new materials.

Interdisciplinary Dialogue – Unifying diverse forms of art and innovative ideas to spark fresh connections and inspire remarkable discoveries.

Transformation & Perception – Using art to explore change, how we see things, and the relationship between nature and culture.

Are you an artist, curator, or maker with an idea that pushes boundaries? Get in touch—let’s explore the possibilities together!
